								<description>Riverside, California,  The UCR School of Medicine invites nominations and applications for the position of Chair of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences, The incumbent will report to the Vice Chancellor and Dean, UCR School of Medicine, and will be responsible for the overall management of the department including, strategic planning, financial and budgetary planning and accountability, performance improvement, resource allocation, program development, recruitment and development of faculty, and for the management of the educational, clinical and research activities of the Department. This position will also provide leadership and direction in meeting the mission of the School of Medicine.   The successful applicant must qualify for an academic appointment in one of the following series: Ladder Rank Professor, Professor of Clinical X or Health Sciences Clinical Professor series at the full professor rank for the position of Chair of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences.   Founded in 2013, the School of Medicine at UCR is the sixth University of California Medical School and serves the rapidly growing Inland Southern California region by training a much-needed physician workforce and catalyzing innovations in research, education, and healthcare delivery. The UCR School of Medicine&#39;s mission is to improve the health of the community in the Inland Empire, one of the most ethnically diverse and medically underserved areas of the country. Advancement through the faculty ranks at the University of California is through a series of structured, merit-based evaluations, occurring every 2-3 years, each of which includes substantial peer input.   The successful candidate must possess an MD degree or both MD and PhD degrees, and current board certification in Obstetrics, Gynecology as well as meet the eligibility requirements for a medical license in the State of California. Successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to work successfully with and benefit a diverse student body. Candidate must demonstrate scholarly activity, evidenced by peer reviewed publications and extramural funding. The successful candidate must possess an excellent clinical record of expertise and a strong commitment to medical student and resident education. Finally, the candidate must demonstrate appropriate administrative and operational experience and a proven record of clinical, academic, and administrative leadership qualities. Rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience. The posted  UC salary scales  set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5 for the salary range. The budgetary range for this position starts at $400K and final compensation will be dependent on specialty. Anticipated Start: 1/5/2026    POSITION DESCRIPTION   University Extension is seeking experienced professionals to join our instructional teams as part-time instructors for adult learners. This recruitment is for part-time instructors to teach one or more courses in Extension&#39;s Professional Certificate in Fiduciary Management. This Professional Certificate resides in the Department of Professional Programs. The curriculum for this program is designed to teach adult learners the legal procedures, business standards of practice, legal theory, ethics, as well as accounting and asset management.    Courses are 6-8 weeks in length, and average 3 - 4 teaching hours per week. Additionally, courses in this program are offered synchronously online. Courses are typically scheduled Monday through Friday, in the early evenings (Pacific Standard Time).    Courses include:   Overview of Fiduciary Management   Practical Applications of Accounting for the Professional Fiduciary   Introduction to Conservatorships of the Person and Estate   Management of Estate Assets   Professional Fiduciary Business Practices   Decedent&#39;s Estate Practices and Procedures   Trust Administration and Procedure    RESPONSIBILITIES      Provide instruction in accordance with the established instructional agreement, curriculum outlines, and class schedules provided by University Extension.    Communicate teaching objectives and specific learning outcomes to students and clearly outline the grading policies of the course.    Work in conjunction with collaborative partners and subject matter experts in order to ensure that course information is current.    Participate in scheduled orientations, meetings, and mandatory training programs by UCR&#39;s established deadlines.    Maintain timely and accurate academic records within the learning management system and submit timely and accurate documentation as outlined in the instructional agreement.    Maintain appropriate standards of professional conduct.      REQUIREMENTS   Minimum Requirements:      Licensed Fiduciary in the State of California.    Advanced degree in Law or Professional Fiduciary.    Five years of related work experience.    Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
