Essential Functions: POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the senior director of Foundation Relations, the senior associate director is one of four frontline fundraisers in the department of Foundation Relations. The senior associate director is responsible for identifying, researching, interacting with and soliciting funding from local and national foundations to support university priorities, the six schools on the Danforth Campus, Interdisciplinary Programs, faculty, and special projects. The office raises funds for a diverse range of purposes including but not limited to research, facilities, programmatic, scholarship and endowment. In addition to supporting the overall mission of the office, the Senior Associate Director will serve as the primary liaison to one or two of the schools but is not limited to working with those schools. A high degree of independence and self-motivation are necessary, while also being collaborative with colleagues in the Foundation Relations department and with other A&D staff.
