The new Institute on the Biology of Aging and Metabolism at the University of Minnesota is seeking up to six new faculty members. Candidates must have a background in the biology of aging and expertise in one or more of the geroscience pillars of aging: metabolism, macromolecular damage, epigenetics, inflammation, stress responses, proteostasis, and/or stem cells and regeneration. All levels of experience are welcome to apply. This position will be for either a tenure track or tenured assistant, associate, or full professor, depending on qualifications and experiences of the selected candidate. Successful candidates are expected to have a strong publication record in aging and will devote >50% of their effort on aging research. Each candidate will have an academic home in a department of the UMN School of Medicine, which will dictate terms for tenure and promotion.
