Location: Binghamton, NY Category: Professional Posted On: Thu Oct 10 2019 Job Description: Budget Title: Instructional Support Associate (SL-2) Salary: $42,651-$46,000 The Bartle Stacks Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for directing student employees to perform daily stack maintenance operations in the Glenn G. Bartle Library and Fine Arts Collections. As a member of the Reader Services Department, the incumbent serves as a team member responsible for providing innovative, user-centered services and resources for a diverse constituency of students, faculty, staff, researchers and community members. This position functions in direct contact with the public and has the primary responsibility of training and supervising Stacks student employees in accordance with the needs of Reader Services. The ability to operate an automated library system and other technologies, manual dexterity, lifting, bending, stretching, carrying books and the ability to move loaded book trucks, climb a multi-step double handrail ladder and lift an excess of 30 lbs. are required. The incumbent reports to the Assistant Head of Reader Services, Annex and Stacks. Duties and Responsibilities:
