Position Summary The main responsibility of this role in Columbia's Cardiometabolic Precision Medicine Program will be to plan and conduct statistical analyses of dense genetic, biochemical and lifestyle data in relation to a wide range of cardiometabolic outcomes including heart failure, coronary heart disease and diabetes in a large population based bioresource from South Asia. Genetic data will involve whole-exome sequencing and whole-genome sequencing data in more than 100,000 participants from unique population groups that are highly in-bred. This unique and large-scale project will provide insights into the etiology of cardiometabolic outcomes. A large number of high quality manuscripts will result from this work which will also benefit the candidate. Responsibilities
