The Research Program Coordinator will lead all the data compliance efforts and interactions with customer management systems. The ideal candidate has experience supporting complex scientific research programs involving multiple studies, grants, and collaborators. The Research Program Coordinator will be responsible for all administrative coordination of Professor Dominici's Lab, and will serve as a liaison with internal and external constituencies. They must work effectively with minimal supervision in a work environment of multiple and conflicting priorities.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Serve as principal liaison with program constituents, internal and external partners, collaborating organizations, and government agencies
  • Evaluate current policies and procedures; recommend and implement improvements
  • Prepare and maintain staffing, project, and other records, including Internal Review Board protocols and Data Use Agreements
  • Create and maintain computer account and data access records; review and grant account creation and data access requests; regularly review account and access permissions and revoke access when team members leave
  • Maintain training and confidential documentation to ensure compliance with data provider and funder requirements
  • Prepare and maintain equipment records, and work with internal and external partners to acquire maintain, and upgrade computer equipment
  • Prepare and maintain data records, and work with internal and external partners to acquire, curate, and archive data
  • Keep current on trends, compliance issues, regulations and guidelines and advise and train research group members accordingly
  • Assist in the preparation of grant proposals and serve as liaison to granting institutions/donors
  • Coordinate lab activities among diverse group of researchers
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Union: 55 - Hvd Union Cler & Tech Workers

  • 3+ years of related experience required; a combination of education and experience may be considered


  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred; Bachelor's Degree in biological science in a plus
  • Experience providing complex administrative support in a high-profile environment with tact and diplomacy preferred
  • Solid working knowledge of office processes and related computer software and electronic communications tools preferred
  • Excellent computer skills, including experience with MS Office applications and web-based applications, preferred
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and Markdown is a plus

Experience being a flexible team player; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Works well across teams in supporting a variety of projects and constituencies preferred; Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities; Strong organizational skills; Strong attention to detail and evaluate quality; and strong judgement & discretion dealing with confidential information are all preferred
