Location: Binghamton, NY Category: Professional Posted On: Mon Oct 28 2019 Job Description: Budget Title: Staff Assistant (SL-2) Salary: $44,000 - 48,000 Binghamton University is looking for a full time Assistant Financial Analyst to join our Finance and Resources team, which is a part of Physical Facilities. The Finance and Resources Office seeks a self-motivated individual with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. This position involves working efficiently in a customer-oriented environment, subject to frequent changing of priorities. This position will work with all funding sources and accounts utilized within Physical Facilities. This position will participate with purchasing, accounts payable, updating our employee labor distribution, as well as the tracking and billing of Dorm Damage. This includes but is not limited to: ascertaining accuracy of purchase requisitions (following NYS purchasing guidelines - i.e. MWBE requirements), receipting purchases, verifying funding of purchases, assigning general ledger accounts to employee labor records as well as purchase orders and work orders, etc. Job Requirements:
