Paul D. Camp Community College is currently recruiting for a Business Office Manager. This position will be responsible for the following duties: Manage and supervise accounting and financial reporting to include state, local, federal and private funds. Manage and oversee the reconciliation of all funds, preparation of all opening and closing journal entries, review, evaluation and approval of all fiscal reports(internal and external) and timely interface of AIS and Cardinal. Coordinate the preparation and distribution of financial reports/statements to meet college demands and in accordance with state requirements. Complete testing for 1098T preparation and process 1099s in conjunction with Shared Service Center. Coordinate annual ARMICS testing and reporting in compliance regulations. Coordinate PCI compliance with the IT department. Train business office staff in appropriate financial procedures and in changes to state, VCCS and local accounting systems, and policy and procedure. Manage accounting staff of the college in the areas of purchasing, accounts payable and receivable, general accounting and financial reporting, and cashiering to ensure efficient delivery of services and compliance with applicable laws/regulations and college policy and procedures through the use of state of the art automated information systems. Oversee the development and implementation of related automated Student Information Systems (SIS), Financial Reporting Systems (AIS), and purchasing (eVA). Direct and supervise Grants accounting and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Ensure AR reports are submitted timely. Assists Operations Manager with implementation of college's operating budget. Manage all cash receipts, deposits, and recording into SIS and AIS for all funds. Assist in the development and implementation of college fiscal policies and procedures of college, state, and other regulatory agencies and evaluates college's fiscal operations to ensure compliance. Acts as liaison for college with internal and external auditors. Prepare audit responses to audit findings and recommendations.
