"We think we are changing education. Kids just think it's cool." Summary Black Rocket is looking for a dynamic person to join our team! The Assistant Director’s primary role is to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction in all Black Rocket’s enrichment and education programs. These programs include courses such as Minecraft™, app design, coding, robotics, and video game creation. This position requires someone with the ability and experience to effectively manage people and projects in a variety of areas. The Assistant Director is required to be at Black Rocket headquarters in New Jersey three days of the week, but out of state candidates may be eligible to work from home the other days.

The Position As the Assistant Director, you will play a key role in ensuring that our customer satisfaction and quality goals are met. You will be part of the team that is responsible for the development, administration, and operation of nationwide summer enrichment programs. Responsibilities recruiting and training of teachers, scheduling of classes, and providing customer support with site visits. The role calls for a diverse set of skills in recruiting, customer relations, and planning. In the off season, the Assistant Director may support either the sales or curriculum development teams.

Core Qualifications /Skills Candidates may be from a field in Education, such as K-12, Ed Tech, or Youth Enrichment. 3 years minimum experience, 5-7+ years preferred, with 2 of those years in a supervisory or management position. Bachelor’s degree necessary, Masters preferred. MUST have the ability to work in our office located in Freehold, NJ, a minimum of 2 days per week.
