![]() Webster University Position Number: F0130 Job Description Summary: Webster University invites applicants for a tenure-track faculty at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor for the 2019/2020 Academic Year. The desired candidate will possess a Doctorate in Health Administration, or Business Administration with an emphasis in Health Administration. Experience in a CAHME-accredited program is preferred. Webster values faculty with practical work experience, and encourages individuals with management and leadership backgrounds to apply. Rank, Term, and Salary: This is a nine-month, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor. Salary competitive with private AACSB-accredited institutions in the Midwest. Teaching Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in Health Administration in the graduate MHA program. A candidate should be qualified to teach courses in at least two of the major subfields such as: Health Policy, Healthcare Management, Healthcare Law, or Healthcare Finance. A teaching background and/or healthcare management experience is required. The teaching load will be six courses per academic year. Other Responsibilities: Teaching is the primary focus of this position, but the person chosen will be expected to provide departmental services such as advising, evaluation of adjunct faculty, and curriculum development. Other responsibilities include research and University service.
