Chief Medical Information Officer, Near Boston

North Shore Physicians Group (NSPG), the largest multi-specialty group practice north of Boston and a member of the Partners HealthCare System, is seeking a Chief Medical Information Officer. Reporting to NSPG’s Medical Director of Primary Care and President, this position also works closely with and North Shore Medical Center’s Chief Information Officer and Chief Medical Information Officer.

The CMIO will be responsible for:

• supporting the design, adoption, and optimal use of clinical information systems and electronic health records that assist clinicians and in the delivery of patient care and to support NSPG’s strategic goals.
• representing NSPG in Partners-wide initiatives at the intersection of patient care and clinical information systems.

The ideal candidate will be a board certified MD/DO with 3 or more years of practice or relevant fellowship experience. Must also have a strong record of collaboration and possess the ability to engage a broad base of potential stakeholders to work towards a shared vision. Management experience in an academic medical center or additional management degree (e.g., MBA, MPH) is preferred.
