Provides professional and administrative services in accordance with generally accepted ethical and professional standards and maintains such records, reports, and documentation evidencing the delivery of services to patients, including the completion of encounter forms, and dictation within 48 hours of patient visits. - Carries out job duties in a manner that enhances positive professional relationships with staff, patients and families, and other physicians. . - Demonstrate good medical staff citizenship through active participation . Actively participates in other hospital assigned medical staff meetings and committees as appropriate. Assists with the development of and participation in community education programs to increase public awareness about cancer prevention, screening, detection, and major treatments. - Participates as an investigator in national and local research clinical trials and protocols and assists with the publication of outcomes data from clinical trials and research activities. - Demonstrates commitment to the vision, core purpose/mission and goals of LRHHCC/LRH, and models organizational values and culture. Promotes and participates in activities for the achievement of patient, customer, and employee safety and satisfaction goals. - Assumes responsibility for personal and professional growth and development of one's own potential, including participating in Risk Management programs and other activities that promote quality patient care and safety. - Use best efforts to build relationships with community physicians and develop strong referral patterns. Assists with achievement of financial targets for Cancer Center through developing and monitoring of budgetary goals, development and tracking of volume projections, and achievement of physician productivity goals. Assists Cancer Center in evaluation selection and implementation of new technologies and programs. |
