| Canterbury School seeks a full-time, dedicated Lower School Director to join our school community. The Lower School Director is a senior member of the Leadership Team and will guide and shape the learning environment for students in Kindergarten - 4th Grade. The Director will communicate and build strong relationships with families, guide and inspire a strong Faculty, be energetic, employ humor, and exude professionalism. Initially founded in 1977 by a group of seven families as a small K-6 school, Canterbury School has grown and matured into a highly regarded school now serving 866 students from Early Childhood (age 2) through Grade 12. Current enrollment in the Lower School is 233. The school is located on two adjacent and well-equipped campuses totaling seventy acres and located about ten minutes from downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana. With a growing population currently exceeding 250,000 people, Fort Wayne is Indiana’s second largest city and a vibrant, family-centered, and friendly community.
