Human Geography Fall 2020 - Adjunct Pool

The Worcester State University Department of Earth Environment and Physics seeks an instructor for the Fall 2020 Semester to teach 2 sections of Human Geography. The course is an introduction to human geography emphasizing globalization, human environment relations and spatial patterns of population, development, economics, politics, urbanization and culture. Due to ongoing Covid 19 situation the course will be taught as a Blended course, online content comprising 25 - 99% of the total course content. The Fall 2020 Semester begins September 9th 2020 and ends December 18, 2020. These are part time teaching assignments, the courses are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30 - 11:20 and 11:30 - 12:20. Minimum requirements are a Master's degree in Geography, and at least one year of teaching experience including online teaching. A Ph.D. is preferred but not required. Adjunct faculty postings are for potential part-time, non-benefited, teaching positions during the 2020-2021 academic year.
