This position is in the Department of Cell Biology and Physiology.  This position is for the Medical School Campus.

A postdoctoral position is available in the lab immediately.  The major focus of the postdoc's research is to delineate a newly discovered Ca2+-dependent signaling pathway important for genome protection in human cells. This postdoc will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other lab members in another research direction that explores the interplay between RNA decay and genome surveillance for cancer treatment. 

• Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree in physiology, cell biologyor other relevant areas.
• Record of accomplishment of leading projects to completion and publication in peer-reviewed journals.

• Prior experience, achievements and letters of recommendation that clearly articulate scientific devotion, drive and curiosity will benefit the applicant. 
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a growing team.

Base pay commensurate with experience.
