Position Function: An Assistant Clinical Professor in Accounting is sought for a non-tenure track position beginning Fall 2021. Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching (face-to-face and online), a wide range of courses in accounting at the undergraduate and graduate levels and support the mission of the School through service and research activities. All areas of accounting will be considered. Salary Grade: UC Please see Staff Compensation Structure or Skilled Crafts and Service Maintenance Compensation Schedule for salary ranges. For salary grade UC, these positions are "Unclassified" and salary ranges are determined by the hiring department. Department Profile: Please review the Adkerson School of Accountancy webpage located at Area of Specialization: Accounting Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Major duties and responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, and support the mission of the School through service and research activities. Minimum Qualifications: The position requires an accounting doctorate from an AACSB accredited university, demonstrated high-quality teaching experience, a history of active participation in the accounting profession, and a CPA designation. The individual must meet the School's Scholarly Academic or Practice Academic policy. Preferred Qualifications: In addition to minimum qualifications, professional certification, online teaching and professional experience are desirable. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: The ability to provide academic leadership. Commitment to working with and encouraging diversity. Effective interpersonal skills to interact with, engage and inspire students, faculty, staff and others. Effective organization and administrative skills.
