A comprehensive residency in pharmacy practice that provides opportunity for extensive experience in primary care and geriatrics. The program includes clinical pharmacy specialists offering rotations in required and elective specialty areas including ambulatory care, internal medicine, critical care, surgery, home based primary care, infectious disease, psychiatry, administration, oncology, and pain. Each resident must present and submit a research project as part of the requirement for completion of the program. The applicant must possess a Pharm.D. degree and be a United States citizen eligible for licensure in any one of the 50 states or Puerto Rico.
PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration
A comprehensive residency in pharmacy system healthcare administration to provide residents the opportunity to develop the professional skills necessary to become future clinical or operational leaders. The residency will focus on clinical inpatient pharmacy management, outpatient pharmacy management, pharmacoeconomics, budget and procurement, pharmacy leadership and administration, pharmacy benefits management, medication safety and regulatory compliance, and ambulatory care management. The applicant must possess a Pharm.D. degree/license, have completed an ASHP Accredited PGY1 Residency program, and be a United States citizen.
PGY2 Psychiatric Pharmacy
This program is designed to transition the PGY1 resident graduates from general practice to specialty practice focusing on the care of patients with psychiatric disorders. This residency position expands learning experiences beyond traditional acute inpatient and outpatient psychiatry clinics, and substance abuse, to include practice in the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) clinics. The applicant must possess a Pharm.D. degree/license, have completed an ASHP Accredited PGY1 Residency program, and be a United States citizen.
