The Bard Prison Initiative (BPI) seeks an Admission and Enrollment Associate. This is a full-time, exempt, 12 month per year position. The successful candidate will excel at working in a community that is broadly diverse with regard to race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, gender, nationality, sexual orientation and religion. The Bard Prison Initiative (BPI) is nationally recognized for its innovative model of academic inclusion. One of the most rigorous and effective college-in-prison programs in the country, BPI is now extending its radical intervention in educational inequity outside of prison through two other full-scholarship degree programs: the Bard Microcollege and BardBac. This position is an opportunity to contribute to BPI's growth and sustainability by managing admission and enrollment processes and data across all of its programs. It will be located in the BPI office on the Bard College campus in Annandale-on-Hudson.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the BPI Director of Admission in organizing admission processes and timelines across BPI's programs and campuses;

• Maintain recruitment and admission schedules and materials;

• Maintain admission data and records;

• Process information for student academic accounts, email accounts, and IDs;

• Support the BPI Academic Director in course planning, scheduling, and record keeping;

• Create and maintain course database records;

• Maintain registration schedules and materials;

• Enter registration data and process drop/add requests;

• Create rosters and student enrollment sheets;

• Record and submit grades and grade updates;

• Process academic standing letters to students;

• Maintain record of associate and bachelor's degrees;

• Maintain communication and strong working relationships with BPI colleagues and related Bard College offices.
