Organizational Overview BNL Instrumentation Division is seeking a motivated electrical engineer to provide solutions-based technical support for a variety of challenging projects. In this role, you will be a member of a large team that is responsible for the design, development, integration and verification of complex systems. The responsible engineer will participate in the development of detector electronics (e.g. as needed for the sPHENIX, which is an upgrade to the RHIC experiment). You will also contribute to other projects managed out of the Instrumentation Division, including but not limited to the nEXO and AIT-NEO experiments. This position will report to a seasoned electrical engineer in the Instrumentation Division and have daily interactions with experienced scientists and engineers where he/she will receive guidance and mentorship to further develop knowledge and experience building scientific instruments.
