Job Type/Schedule: This position is full-time and works approximately 40 hours per week. Department Name/Job Location: This position is in the Department of Neurology. The position is located at the Institute of Health. This position is for the Medical School Campus. Essential Functions: POSITION SUMMARY: Dr. Randall Bateman’s lab investigates the causes, and future diagnosis and treatments of Alzheimer’s disease utilizing a wide variety of assays and techniques from basic applications, such as quantitative measurement of stable-isotope labeled peptides to clinical translational studies in diagnostic and therapeutic biomarkers for Alzheimer’s disease. We have several ongoing clinical studies, including the Study to Evaluate Blood and Imaging Related to Dementia (SEABIRD) to validate a blood test for Alzheimer’s disease in a large community- and clinic-based cohort. This position is a member of a multidisciplinary research team and performs duties associated with the coordination and implementation of research studies/projects, data collection, and the management of data generate by study protocols. This position involves assessment of research participants and interactions with research participants, family, and caregivers in a research setting. This position interacts with participants who have mild to moderate dementia and healthy control volunteers. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Salary Range: The hiring range for this position is $48,880 - $87,880 annually. Pre-Employment Screening: All external candidates receiving an offer for employment will be required to submit to pre-employment screening for this position.
