Oversees quality control of CUIMC campus budget assembly as well as entries into University financial systems to ensure accurate and complete assembly of budget projections. Serves as liaison to CUIMC central administrative shared-services units, schools, and the University's central IT Office on financial systems issues and financial accounting issues required for accurate entry and reporting of relevant financial data. Coordinates with client contacts and internal staff regarding deadlines and task requirements.

Assists the Senior Director as needed in developing the FAIR (Financial Allocation of Infrastucture Resources)  cost allocation model controlling distribution of CUIMC central costs to campus schools.  Develops forecasts as well as regular monitoring of planned vs. actual performance of the FAIR model.

Devises and implements means to optimize the budgeting process, including working with the Financial Information Systems group to design enhanced reporting solutions. Suggests refinements to OBF's analytical content in order to enhance the understanding of the financial position of CUIMC schools and units and to increase analytical rigor and transparency.

Suggests refinements to CUIMC's standards for accounting and reporting and implements them using the CUIMC technology framework of SMART (Strategic Management and Reporting Toolkit). Serves as an internal resource on and trains school and departmental staff to ensure accurate reporting of campus financial activity as a means of advancing continued improvement of campus operations.

Gains familiarity with complementary budgetary/financial functions, such as the capital budget or sponsored project awards, in order to assist with necessary analyses if required. Responsible for special projects as required. Performs related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested.
