The Oregon Pediatric Improvement Partnership (OPIP) supports a meaningful, long-term collaboration of stakeholders invested in child health care quality, with the common purpose of improving the health of the children and youth of Oregon. OPIP staff and projects are focusing on building health and improving outcomes for children and youth by: 1) Collaborating in quality measurement and improvement activities; 2) Supporting evidence-guided quality activities; 3) Incorporating the patient and family voice into quality efforts; and 4) Informing policies that support optimal health and development.

This position is under the supervision of the Director of the Oregon Pediatric Improvement Partnership (OPIP). Manage and coordinate all financial, grant and contract management activities for the Oregon Pediatric Improvement Partnership.

Duties include, but are not limited to, financial planning and management of University, Research, Foundation and Contracted/Sale of Service accounts. Includes reconciliation, processing grants and contracts, preparing budgets and serving as a resource to departmental administrative staff. Activities involving project/contract reporting requirement management include: tracking deliverables, invoicing, payment tracking, supporting processing of subawards and consultants (including drafting materials for OHSU review, ensuring payment, etc).

• Requires a Bachelors degree with a minimum of at least 2 years of administrative office experience with grant/contract and project management exposure OR no degree and 4 years of administrative office experience with grant/contract and project management exposure.
• Strong technical background with solid knowledge of accounting and financial principles in a non-profit or academic setting.
• Prior experience developing and monitoring multi-cost center budgets.
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines within short time frame.
• Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint.
• Extensive and demonstratable experience with Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively, make independent decisions within established guidelines, policies and procedure, and maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of grants administration, preferably within a nonprofit or academic research setting.

• Masters level in Health Administration
• Knowledge and experience with the OHSU systems and contracting processes.
• Knowledge and experience with a soft funded program within OHSU.
• Knowledge and experience with of a program that has grants, contracts and other funded that is not from traditional NIH resources.
• Experience with database management.
