Poly Prep seeks applicants for the position of Annual Giving Parent Liaison.
The Annual Giving Parent Liaison is responsible for cultivating and supporting the management of a robust parent volunteer base to support Poly Prep’s growing Annual Giving Program. The Annual Giving Parent Liaison will assist the Director of Annual Giving and the Manager of Annual Giving in achieving specific fundraising and engagement goals in parent leadership giving, increasing parent participation, and supporting all programs/events associated with the stewardship and cultivation of Poly Prep’s parent donor base. A love of interacting with all manners of a school community, patience, warmth and professional nature are vital to the success of this position. This is a part time position.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Assists in the cultivation and recruitment of a robust Parent Volunteer group through outreach to current and past Poly parents via PA events, school events and functions, phone outreach
Serves as a resource to Parent Volunteers and those interested in supporting the work of the Advancement Office
Supports Annual Giving efforts in tandem with the Director and Manager of Annual Giving within the Advancement Office
Assists with phone-a-thons, annual-giving events, etc. where the Parent Volunteer Group is activated
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required
Experience: 3 years of experience in a related role or field
Specific Skills: Clear and effective communication skills, a passion for building strong relationships with families, exceptional writing skills, enthusiasm, high emotional intelligence, ability to understand a respect for privacy with an emphasis on high touches with constituents.
Certifications: n/a
Special Requirements: Must be available for occasional evening work (PA events, phone-a- thons, stewardship events for Parent Volunteer Group, etc.
