For more than 100 years, the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health's Department of Environmental Health (EH) has had a rich history of making important contributions to the understanding and improvement of public health through national and international leadership in research and education/training in environmental and occupational health. Through work in our laboratories, field studies, and large scale epidemiological studies, we explore the human health effects of environmental and occupational exposures. Our research provides the basis for environmental and occupational health policies and our teaching and mentoring produces world leaders who will continue to advance our knowledge of the impact of environmental and occupational exposures on human health. EH is a very large department that includes both wet and dry labs. The department itself has approximately 500 people including faculty, researchers, staff, and students. It includes both wet labs and (dry) workspaces that range in size from a single bench to 10+ bays. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Laboratory and Compliance Support:
PLEASE NOTE: Until our return to campus and full operational status, which is still to-be-determined, this interview process and position will take place in a modified manner – including virtual interviews, remote onboarding, and a combination of remote and on-site (on campus in Boston) lab work. During this time, the shifts are also likely to be irregular (potentially including weekends and off-hours) and may therefore require schedule flexibility.
