We are searching diligently for the exceptional, energetic, compassionate, team-oriented small animal veterinarian with excellent communication skills to come and grow with us!

Experience preferred. However, we gladly will mentor the exceptional new graduate. We have successfully mentored several new graduates.

We are a community minded practice. Being bilingual, English-Spanish, is a plus but not required. We have bilingual staff members.

Modern Facility

Join four other doctors who practice 21st century medicine in our 7,500 square foot facility that opened in 2016. Established in 1947, we continue to grow in our new facility and are excited to be adding a fifth doctor.

About Us

We believe in making pets comfortable when they visit us. We are a certified “Cat Friendly Practice.” We have separate waiting areas and wards for dogs and cats. We offer separate surgery and dental suites, digital radiology (DR), digital dental radiology, ultrasound, laser therapy, radio surgery, cryosurgery, video otoscope, irrigation and rhinoscope, high speed dental equipment, gas anesthesia, chemistry and CBC analyzers, tono pen, IV fluid pumps, anesthesia monitors, pulse oximeters, EKG monitors, end tidal CO2, patient warming systems, blood pressure monitors and Avimark computerized and integrated records. We have doctors with special interest in dentistry and advanced soft tissue surgery and orthopedic surgery. We welcome exotic pets.

Come and grow with us. We welcome new input and are willing to incorporate additional areas of expertise such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, rehabilitation therapy, and stem cell therapies.

Our staff is well trained and compassionate. We offer a spacious conference room for team training.

We have a 4 1/2-day workweek, competitive compensation (Salary plus production bonus), VIN and a stipend for continuing education, dues and licenses, medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, and Health Savings Account. There are numerous emergency practices in the area, so we do not routinely see after hours emergencies. We offer both appointments and walk-ins. Thus, we see many routine visits as well as a varied caseload. We see mainly dogs and cats; we also treat small mammal, bird, snake and reptile patients.

COVID-19 Policies

Currently we are offering curbside service due to COVID-19. We have added plexiglass shields in reception and the exam rooms. We have added HEPPA air filtration units to all rooms. We have upgraded the air filtration of our air handling system. We have increased our cleaning protocols. Masks must be worn and fitted properly.

The Bradenton area, situated on Florida’s Sun Coast, offers world class powdery, white sand beaches, access to state parks, the DeSoto National Memorial, Manatee Players Theater, the South Florida Museum, Art Center Manatee, two public universities, a private university, a private college of art and design, two technical colleges and the world-famous IMG Academy. Bradenton is the winter home, only four blocks from our practice, of the Pittsburgh Pirates and their Class A affiliate, the Bradenton Marauders. Bradenton is only 10 miles from Sarasota.
