![]() Associate Director of Finance Stanford University The Department of Radiation Oncology is seeking a highly motivated and influential individual to join the leadership team as the Associate Director of Finance. The incumbent will lead a group of dedicated and talented professionals, and partner with the Director of Finance and Administration in defining the strategic direction and financial management of the department. This will be an exciting opportunity for the ideal candidate to shape, guide, and lead a dynamic team of finance analysts. We are looking for a leader who will foster communication, build good working relationships within the department and across campus, develop team support and rapport, improve customer service, produce compliant and accurate work, and engage the team in continuous process improvement activities. The incumbent will have a Master's degree and at least six years relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience. The ideal candidate is expected to influence refinements of processes and positive outcomes; encourage and support independent thinking; recognize and acknowledge the skills of team members and utilize their strengths to the benefit of the team; inspire and motivate teamwork for achieving goals; and cultivate a culture of excellence. S/he will have exceptional attention to detail, the ability to develop strong processes to track and manage commitments, strong analytical and accounting skills, and the ability communicate complex financial information to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise in a clear and concise manner.
