Job Type/Schedule: This position is full-time and works approximately 40 hours per week. Department Name/Job Location: This position is in the Department of Pediatrics. This position is for the Medical School Campus. Essential Functions: POSITION SUMMARY: Position is responsible for the management of processes related to charge capture, compliance and education in the Department of Pediatrics. This position is responsible for tracking compliance issues, trending results, and implementing focused improvement and education. Leads and manages coding staff. Serves as an internal consultant and resource for all matters related to billing compliance. Champions change related to coding and compliance issues. Service Excellence Responsibilities:
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Required Qualifications: Equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in a related field with five or more years of experience in supervision, preferably in coding and/or compliance. Preferred Qualifications:
Salary Range: The hiring range for this position is $62,067 - $79,144 annually. Benefits: This position is eligible for full-time benefits.
