This Quality Improvement Data Analyst in Neuroscience will:
Advise and collaborate with the Neuroscience Center staff on data analytics. Process data requests.
Provide analysis, management, and methodological support for the development of measurement plans for performance indicators, including process and outcome measures.
Prepare written and graphical reports utilizing appropriate QI data analytics techniques including development of dashboards to track performance and highlight opportunities for improvement.
Provide QI analytics education and mentorship to faculty, residents/fellows, nursing, and other staff.
Support management of quality improvement initiatives using project management and QI methodologies.
To qualify, you must have:
The knowledge of theories, principles, and methods utilized in the development of quality improvement metrics health typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree, including coursework in biostatistics and data management. 1-2 years of related experience in a health care-related setting or a related advanced degree is preferred.
The analytical skills to resolve complex problems requiring the use of scientific, mathematical, or technical principles and in-depth, experienced-based knowledge.
Experience with Data interpretation tools (run, control, and Pareto charts, and other measurement tools) and data extraction from data repositories such as Microstrategy preferred. Excel (Pivot Tables and Charts); STATA, SAS, and or SPSS; SharePoint; PowerPoint; Smart Sheet.
Communication skills in order to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions or well-developed writing skills. The ability to work independently.
A strong interest and understanding of data.
