General Overview The Quality Patient Experience (QPE) department delivers on the Board's vision to advance a culture of treating patients with dignity, respect and equity; within our institutions and in the communities we serve; promote a reliable, consistent, and coordinated care experience across institutions; and achieve the best clinical outcomes possible. The Flexible Services Project Specialist will report to the Project Manager of the Health Equity Team, working in partnership with Program Director and Associate Chief Quality Officer, and will provide project management for the ongoing work of the Medicaid ACO Flexible Services program across Mass General Brigham. Flexible Services is a program which links clinically complex Medicaid ACO enrollees with unmet health related needs to community-based organizations to receive nutrition and housing sustaining services. The project specialist will be responsible for executing key administrative functions related to program operations and work closely, ensuring successful operations, with Mass General Brigham clinical teams and with community organizations. The position is funded through December 2022. Principal Duties and Responsibilities • Provide project management for the ongoing work of the Flexible Services program across Mass General Brigham. • Track progress across multiple initiatives, identify and flag bottlenecks and risks. Has ability to manage and prioritize across multiple projects to meet deadlines. • Able to prioritize needs of traditionally underserved populations, elicit and incorporate diverse perspectives. • Support the monitoring and evaluating of the Flexible Services intervention. • Audit invoices for the program and work collaboratively with the PHM Budget team. • Prepare presentations, meeting materials, minutes, and action plans. • Develop a dashboard for referrals, issues and outcomes. • Support the design of Epic tools to facilitate referrals to community based organizations • Work closely with Partners providers and other departments within Partners to implement the initiative. • Translate contract requirements into summary materials and timelines for staff education and program evolution. • Coordinate with internal and external community supports for the Medicaid population. Qualifications Qualifications • Bachelor's degree required; Master's Degree in public health with focus on health management/policy, biostatistics, epidemiology or other related fields strongly preferred. • 2-3 years' experience required, healthcare or health policy experience strongly preferred.
