![]() Webster University Position Number: F0229 Job Description Summary: The Department of Business at Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri is recruiting adjunct faculty to teach The Financial Value of Capital Projects in the MBA Program. Applicants must possess a finance or business related graduate degree, along with relevant professional experience. Demonstrated expertise teaching graduate students online and via Zoom is required. Minimum Qualifications One of the following: Masters degree in finance and five or more years of related professional experience. Business related Masters degree with at least 15 graduate hours of combined finance and accounting coursework and five or more years of related professional experience. Masters degree in a business discipline with a CFA, CMA, CFM, or CSCA certification and five or more years of related professional experience. Preferred Qualifications Substantial experience teaching graduate coursework online, using Canvas or similar LMS systems. Excellent teaching skills, particularly incorporating active learning methodologies in the classroom. Strong commitment to fostering student success. Essential Duties Position Responsibilities Teach course(s) as assigned, across modalities including asynchronous online or a hybrid model in person or via Zoom. Interact with faculty course leads and other instructors across the Webster Network for orientations, working sessions and other collaborative efforts to share best practices and curricular knowledge. Maintain current knowledge of the discipline, through professional development, research or other professional activities. Meet administrative requirements and deadlines such as those for submitting course syllabi, conducting student course evaluations, and submitting final grades.
