Department Name/Job Location: This position is in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Oncology. This position is for the Medical School Campus. Essential Functions: A postdoctoral position is open immediately in the laboratory of Dr. Cynthia Ma at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. The interdisciplinary position will focus on studying cancer biology with an emphasis on discerning biomarkers and resistance mechanisms for PI3K and CDK4/6 inhibitors in breast cancer and developing novel therapeutic approaches to overcome resistance. Techniques include cell-based and in vivo assays, DNA cloning, CRISPR/Cas9, and functional studies, as well as genomic and proteomic analysis. Results will be translated to clinical studies to improve the outcome of patients with breast cancer. Required Qualifications: Ph.D., M.D. or an equivalent terminal or doctoral degree in cancer biology. Preferred Qualifications:
Salary Range: Base pay commensurate with experience.
