Job Type/Schedule: This position is full-time and works approximately 40 hours per week. Department Name/Job Location: This position is in the Department of Operations & Facilities Management.� The position is located at the BJC Institute of Health.� This position is for the Medical School Campus. Essential Functions: POSITION SUMMARY: The Supervisor of the Billable Services Team is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Billable Services Team for the billable work for Facilities Engineering.� This work includes painting, furniture construction, wall repairs, flooring replacement/repairs, counter replacement/repairs, hanging pictures/white boards/ etc., light construction, door services, and Machine Shop services for a fifty nine (59) building, 178 acre campus with 8.3 million building gross square feet campus focused on education, research, and clinical services delivery at Washington University School of Medicine (WUSM); assists the Assistant Director in coordinating the assignment of projects, method of completion of projects and tasks, approval of expenditures, staffing assignments, approval necessary overtime, interviews and hiring of new employees, and performs training as necessary. Applicant Special Instructions: Valid Missouri Class E or Illinois Class D driver’s license needed. Salary Range: The hiring range for this position is $56,472 - $73,403 annually. Pre-Employment Screening: All external candidates receiving an offer for employment will be required to submit to pre-employment screening for this position. Current employees applying for a new position within the university may be subject to this requirement. The screenings will include a criminal background check and, as applicable for the position, other background checks, drug screen, employment and education or licensure/certification verification, physical examination, certain vaccinations and/or governmental registry checks.
