Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL), is presently seeking a Senior Post-Award Grants Administrator and Operations Manager to join the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP). The office actively promotes the research and education mission of CSHL by facilitating and managing sponsored research funding in collaboration with CSHL Investigators, the Director of Research, and other CSHL departments.

The Post-Award Manager will;
-Ensure that institutional policies, laws and regulations regarding sponsored research support are proactively addressed and adhered to.
-Serve as institutional liaison with funding organizations regarding post-award administration policies, compliance, financial and non-financial issues, and prior approvals.
- Pro-actively assure that award related regulatory and assurance requirements are addressed.
- Manage the preparation of subaward agreements and other documents, as necessary.
- Develop and oversee administrative processes and reports that support investigators and ensure compliance with grant terms and conditions, including budget management, progress and financial reporting and subaward monitoring.
- Develop and maintain reports that support investigators and Pre-award administrators in grant submissions, such as Other Support Reporting.
- Assist Investigators in reviewing and managing their overall grant portfolios.
- Assist Investigators in developing and implementing transition plans when transferring to new institutions.
- Compile grants information for CSHL annual report.
- Review grant agreements and related budgets prior to acceptance.
- Prepare joint faculty agreements.
- Review progress reports and changes in other support prior to submission.
- Review all cost transfers.
- Oversee small business reporting – SRS and ISR reports.
- Oversee cost share allocations.
- Compile NSF HERD survey information.
- Direct implementation of changes to accounting system for continuing awards and sponsor approvals.
- Determine equipment disposition requirements.
- Oversee a research budget review committee that meets monthly to proactively monitor spending on all awards.
- Participate in teaching in the Responsible Conduct in Research course at the CSHL graduate school.
- Serve as institutional contact for the Federal Demonstration Partnership.
