For more information, visit www.emmanuel.edu.Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Student Financial Services, the Assistant Director will assist with the recruitment and retention of students by counseling students and their families on all matters related to paying for an Emmanuel College education. The Assistant Director will support the mission of Emmanuel College through a commitment to traditional, adult and graduate programs distinguished by strong human values and a Catholic tradition.Responsibilities will include:Responsible for an assigned caseload of students enrolled in or applying to the traditional undergraduate day programs. Understanding and promoting the value of the Emmanuel College experience; including having a broad understanding of academic and co-curricular programs.Counseling current and prospective students and their families on the costs to attend Emmanuel, the availability of financial aid, application procedures and eligibility requirements, and financing options.Reviewing the student account balance report several times each week ensuring students pay in a timely manner and providing outreach to the student and parents as needed.Determining eligibility for financial aid.Work with representatives from other administrative offices including Admissions, Registrar, Academic Advising, Residence Life, International Programs and other student service areas to improve the student experience and achieve common goals. Our ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and two years of financial aid or student accounts experience. Candidates must have strong organizational and analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial aid and tax forms.
