This non-faculty position is part-time and works approximately 10 - 15 hours per week.  

This position is in the Department of Psychiatry.  The position is located at 4444 Forest Park.  This position is for the Medical School Campus.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This non-faculty position provides neuropsychological assessments and treatments for patients.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Performs neuropsychological/cognitive assessments and prepares documentation of results.
2. Prepares written reports, progress notes in accordance with department guidelines.
3. Performs community outreach programs in accordance with grant requirements.
4. Participates in treatment team meetings.

Other Functions:

1. Assists with the development of program material.
2. Provides individual psychotherapy for patients.

Ph.D. In psychology and current state licensure required. 

• Doctorate in neuropsychology preferred.    
• Experience in a medical setting.
• Working knowledge of psychiatric diagnosis and treatment with communication and interpersonal skills.

JOB LOCATION/WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment with some exposure to unpleasant patient situations or units and flexible work schedule.

The hiring range for this position is $29.84 - $46.26 per hour.
