This position is full-time and works approximately 40 hours per week.  

This position is in the Department of Surgery BSO/Information Systems.  The position is located at the Mid Campus Center.  This position is for the Medical School Campus.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Position is responsible for designing new marketing materials and advertisements; position also assists with marketing events and social media marketing initiative.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Designs new marketing materials and redesigns outdated marketing materials.

• Consults and collaborates with Marketing Manager and Practice Development Manager to establish parameters and deadlines for projects.
• Ensures that deadlines are met.
• Recommends printing options, prepares materials, and works with vendors for the most cost-effective solution.

2. Provides coordination and marketing support for department special events; available to work events as needed outside of normal business hours.
3. Coordinates the department’s social media marketing initiative, including Twitter, Youtube, Facebook, and website updates.
4. Attends and coordinates photo shoots as necessary to support the Manager of Marketing Services.

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design and/or three years of experience as a graphic designer.

• Excellent organizational skills.

The hiring range for this position is $16.31 - $20.39 per hour.
