Job Type/Schedule: This position is full-time and works approximately 40 hours per week. Department Name/Job Location: This position is in the Department of Biostatistics. The position is located at the Becker Library. This position is for the Medical School Campus. Essential Functions: POSITION SUMMARY: The Division of Biostatistics at Washington University School of Medicine is seeking a qualified Project Manager to support a single NIH-funded project (the Heart Lung and Blood Co-morbidities Implementation Models in People Living with HIV Research Coordination Center, RCC).� The RCC is coordinating the scientific and operational efforts of research projects being conducted in six sub-Saharan African countries and travel to those countries may be expected approximately once or twice per year for four to five days at one time. This position is a leadership role for a focused multitasker. The successful candidate will be self-motivated with effective time management skills, be experienced in tracking and managing progress of tasks, and have excellent oral and written communication skills.� The successful candidate will interact with government representatives, academic faculty, medical personnel including physicians and nurses, statisticians and other project managers. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related subject with five years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience totaling nine years. Preferred Qualifications:
Salary Range: The hiring range for this position is $47,985 - $61,193 annually. Pre-Employment Screening: All external candidates receiving an offer for employment will be required to submit to pre-employment screening for this position.
