This position is full-time and works approximately 40 hours per week.  

This position is in the Department of Facilities Management.  This position is for the Medical School Campus.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Collects data and prepares reports using complex analytics including space, HR and financial information, key performance indicators (KPIs), operations data, financial transactions and other relevant data.� Gathers and analyzes data from University, WUSM and facilities specific technology, HR and finance systems, coordinates review meetings, critically evaluates analytic information gathered from multiple sources, analyzes and reconciles conflicts, decomposes high-level information into details, converts front line performance information to a general understanding, and distinguishes user requests from the underlying needs.� Summarizes complex data analyses into comprehensive executive level exhibits.� Facilitates conversations with teams, and executive level leadership and makes recommendations of meant and methods for rent, parking and other operational activities to improve performance in various service areas for the department and the campus. This position is a critical member of the OFMD Space Analytics team.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Performs data analysis on multiple charging methods related to campus space, operational costs and capital cost data. Supports Executive Space Committee in the development of a campus rent model and serves as a critical member of our space, financial and operational leadership team. Performs analysis on charge and service level agreement forecasting end of the year performance in KPIs, revenue and expense, projecting costs forward and completing multi-year trend report.
2. Compiles statistical data for executive level presentations including historical and current data. Oversees the compiling and maintenance of the database including working with all entities to receive complete and up-to-date information.
3. Collects, analyzes and maintains complex cost data to produce quarterly and annual financial reports used by management. Provides necessary interpretation and explanation of work product as needed to peers and leadership.
4. Participates in development, preparation, review and evaluation of annual strategic planning project and budgeting process. May provide project management in support of unique and on-going initiatives.
5. Assists with occasional software implementations and ongoing technology maintenance.
6. Management and reporting of all departments KPI’s – works closely with key service areas across the campus.
7. Performs other duties or projects as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree with five years of data management background.

• Experience with HR, Space and Financial data systems.
• High skill level in Excel data and pivot tables is essential.
• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong program, process, data analytics, service and project management experience.
• Strong attention to detail.

The hiring range for this position is $71,323 - $92,788 annually.
