Job Description:

This position exists to provide technical analysis, coordination, and support to enable excellent customer experience through integrated automated systems. These systems include but are not limited to: content management solutions, portal, web-based technologies, digital forms, and workflows. This includes system analysis, design, implementation, and support for the university website and digital platform/infrastructure used by students, faculty, staff, administrators, and external constituents of St. Cloud State University. An effective university website and digital experience are highly critical as it enables the university to accomplish its objectives, including enrollment and retention of students.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information technology, engineering, business administration, or related field
• 3 years of related IT experience in website platform/infrastructure and digital forms working on large scale projects or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with enterprise website and application analysis, design, development and administration, including integration with third-party vendor application.
• Experience as an Agile Product Owner or Product Technical partner
• Experience with assessing web analytics, being able to read and interpret reporting data
• Advanced proficiency and experience with currently utilized development technologies including: HTML, XHTML, CSS, ASP.Net and C#.
• Project management skills sufficient to manage multiple projects simultaneously, create clear and attainable project objectives, build project requirements, oversee the cost, time and scope of projects, manage project constraints, and communicate progress and end results.
• Strong verbal communication skills sufficient to participate in discussions and communicate technical idea and procedures to technical and non-technical staff and managers and present recommendations and reports to senior managers.
• Strong written communication skills sufficient to write, prepare, and edit materials such as memos, procedures, reports, presentations, etc., using correct spelling, punctuation, grammar, and sentence construction and clearly explaining complex technical ideas and procedures to varied technical and non-technical audiences.
• Customer services skills sufficient to actively listen to and understand customer needs and provide accurate information and appropriate alternatives in a timely, thorough, courteous, respectful, and professional manner in person, over the phone and in writing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience and understanding of Agile methodologies while working with the campus to understand and document business needs.
• Experience with service-oriented architecture.
• Experience with maintaining an enterprise web content management system.

• Experience with image and video manipulation.
• Experience with cloud hosting environments.
• Peer mentoring experience.

In accordance with the Minnesota State Colleges & Universities (MnSCU) Vehicle Fleet Safety Program, employees driving on college/university business who use a rental or state vehicle shall be required to conform to MnSCU’s vehicle use criteria and consent to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
