This position is in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.  This position is for the Medical School Campus.

The Tang Lab in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Washington University has a position for a motivated postdoctoral fellow to work on experimental bone biomechanics. The candidate will also be expected to becoming an expert in microCT imaging, analytical protein assays, and modeling of skeletal tissues. The successful candidate will join a dynamic research group with a comprehensive research portfolio across preclinical and clinical models that span investigations in bone, the intervertebral disc, and musculoskeletal pain. The position is part of an academic-industry collaboration with opportunities to interface with translation and commercialization processes with federal agencies. The fellowship is for a period up to three years, renewable annually with satisfactory performance. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary orthopaedic research laboratory with the Center for Musculoskeletal Research (http://musculoskeletalcore.wustl.edu/) [NIAMS P30 AR074992].
