Job Type/Schedule: This position is full-time and works approximately 40 hours per week. Department Name/Job Location: This position is in the Department of Pediatics, Division of Gastroenterology. This position is for the Medical School Campus. Essential Functions: This laboratory examines basic and translational aspects of metabolism that relate to the pathogenesis of diabetes, liver inflammation and cancer. We use a broad variety of techniques, which range from reductionist in vitro signaling and binding assays to in vivo mouse genetics, broad transcriptomics, metabolomics and proteomics. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, physiology, or a related biomedical science. Applicants with more education and experience are encouraged to apply. Salary Range: Base pay commensurate with experience.
