Part-Time Route Driver, Mail Services

Department MAIL SERVICES (BL-MAIL-IUBLA) Job Summary Under general supervision, perform duties related to collection, sorting, and delivery of Campus Mail for all IU Bloomington Departments, and collect and prepare mail to be sent to the regional campuses. Drive mini-van/stepvan to all locations on campus, sort mail and prepare for delivery, fill in for staff in our satellite locations courier and for Accountable Mail Driver as needed. Required Qualifications General knowledge at the high school level. Possess a valid driver's license with the ability to be insured by Indiana University. Ability to read mail labels and sort mail into bins. Ability to use computer for timekeeping purposes, and general computer knowledge such as email. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Experience in mail handling and knowledge of campus locations. Working Conditions / Demands Must be able to adapt to all types of weather conditions, have the ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
