This role will support selected administrative and coordination activities across the National Business Development and Strategy team . Growth from the national market is a key priority for Boston Children's Hospital in the coming years. As such, the National team is focused on growth initiatives that include developing channel relationships with other health care systems, payers, consumers and referring providers. Current priorities include the implementation and management of relationships with external collaborators. Depending on the qualifications and interests of the candidate, activities and responsibilities could include business operations support, development and maintenance of processes, relationship management for external BCH partnerships, and research / analytical projects that contribute to the National and International growth strategy.

This Program Coordinator II will be responsible for:
  • Assisting in the coordination of department activities, including daily operations. Assisting in the development of new or revision of program goals that support National strategies and external relationships
  • Assisting with agenda preparation and meeting planning. Will help prepare meeting materials, distribute communications, and record action items/minutes
  • Assisting with written communication for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Helping coordinate and schedule workshops, meetings or conferences; coordinates logistics, scheduling and participant communications
  • Creating standardized documentation and templates
  • Conferring with staff and others to provide technical advice, provide problem solving assistance and answer questions about the program and its goals. Refers inquiries to others as needed.
  • May prepare or assists in the preparation of periodic reports and records on program activities, progress, status or other special reports for management or outside agencies.
  • Liaises with staff from both National and International, and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives.
  • Helping with management of external relationships, such as assisting with referrals, intake, and patient support.
  • Assists with billing/invoicing for BCH services rendered
To qualify you must have:
  • A Bachelor's degree preferred. An Associate's degree with 2 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
  • Work requires the ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.
