Essential Functions: POSITION SUMMARY: The Office of Residential Life at Washington University in St. Louis has an opening for a Residential College Director (RCD). This position is responsible for enhancing the quality of life for residential students through the development of programs and activities which promote learning and foster an inclusive community. RCDs possess a commitment to social justice, as well as an open mind and willingness to learn. Flexibility, positive attitude, and sense of humor are critical to success. RCDs are key members of the Residential Life team, and as such, also participate in departmental planning, evaluation, and administration. RCDs are 12-month, full-time, live-in positions with involvement in both departmental and University-wide committees and initiatives. Residential Colleges and Residential Communities are each unique and have their own amenities and programs. Our residential communities include:

Job Type/Schedule: This position is full-time and works approximately 37.5 hours per week. The projected start date for this role will be July 1, 2021. Department Name/Job Location: This position is in the Department of Housing/Residential Life. This position is for the Danforth Campus.
