Promotes the optimalhealth, well being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient carestandards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act. In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

• 1-2 years required of Medical Surgical, Telemetry, or Stepdown experience
• Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
• Associates Degree from an accredited School of Nursing required
• BSN preferred
• Current Colorado RN license/ Current RN license from a participating state in National Licensure Compact required
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association required
• ACLS required
• NIHSS required within 30 days of hire date.

Applicants will need to consider 2-4 of following facilities: Parker Adventist Hospital, Littleton Adventist Hospital, Porter Adventist Hospital, Castle Rock Adventist Hospital, St. Anthony's Hospital, Ortho Colorado, Longmont United Hospital, St. Anthonys North and Avista Adventist Hospital

Physical Requirements -Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
