This position is primarily responsible for tasks related to maintaining social media, the websites and other digital applications. This position also includes some research and other tasks related to an FJA Research and Education Foundation history project.

The Digital Coordinator will work with the Deputy Director of Marketing and the Chief Information Officer to keep all platforms current and relevant to the Florida Justice Association and the FJA Research and Education Foundation’s missions.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

Responsible for working with the Deputy Director of Marketing and the Chief Information Officer to manage and maintain the social media platforms and websites for the organization. Also working with the Executive Director of the Foundation to facilitate tasks relative to the history project.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in managing website updates using the WordPress WCM platform such as updating pages, blogs, and changing banners.
• Manage updates to a mobile app using a standard event platform. Also responsible for working with the Executive Director of the Foundation to facilitate digital media presence and to carry out tasks related to other Foundation projects.
• Be the contact for the FJA Career Center which consists of approving job listings, reviewing areas of improvement and soliciting members to post free job listings to the FJA website.
• Assist the technology department in miscellaneous tasks relating to the FJA database such as data entry, updating committees, etc.
• Liaison to author of the FJA Research and Education Foundation’s history project
• Assist with research and other tasks related to the history project

• Communicating with other departments to gather information for social media posts and emails.
• Designing and drafting social media posts (Canva, Adobe suite, etc.).
• Scheduling and publishing social media posts (Hootsuite, Facebook Publisher, etc.).
• Assisting with the development and implementation of social media strategies for each platform.
• Assist with email marketing and other areas as needed.
