Real Estate Debt Analyst/Associate. Our Client is leading boutique Real Estate investment bank managing highly complex transactions and competing with large market players. They are currently looking for an Analyst/Associate to join their highly commercial and dynamic team.

The Role will be providing transactional support to the Senior members of the company and will see them carrying out the following responsibilities: 

• Evaluating and underwriting debt transactions.
• Reviewing the finance documentation.
• Preparing engagement letters and marketing materials.
• Preparing draft information memorandums.
• Assisting with the due diligence process and reviewing related reports.
• Assisting with initial pitches to clients.
• Being involved in the credit approval process.
• Providing advanced deal execution support across all aspects of the execution process of arranging debt transactions.

The Person must be a commercially minded individual with a solid academic background, and they must have a minimum of 2-4 years' experience operating within CRE debt finance and real estate lending. A basic understanding or knowledge of real estate finance documentation including terms and so forth is needed. The person should have the ability to create and understand Excel financial models for real estate debt transactions. Experience of debt restructuring, or debt sales is also advantageous.  Strong communication, presentational and project management skills are essential to be able to work well in a small and highly commercial environment.
