Exciting new opportunity to join a growing firm as a Security Compliance Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Operations Team, helping to strengthen our technology strategy and privacy & security posture. We are looking for someone who is passionate about privacy, information security, risk, and technology; enjoys learning and staying current with industry trends and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, NIST, ISO, SSAE 16/18, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GLBA); excels at teamwork and collaboration; and gets excited about helping our firm strategically solve privacy and security challenges. This role will work closely with our Information Security Manager and interact with Senior leadership.
This is a growing role with opportunity to take on a variety of responsibilities aiming to improve, grow, and improve the effectiveness of critical privacy, security, and technology processes. Components of the role include:
Responsibilities
    • Compliance
    • Research, understand, and drive firmwide compliance requirements, including privacy & security regulations, standards, and frameworks
    • Support updates to public- and client- facing notices and disclosures

    • Vendor Management, Due Diligence, and Contract Review
    • Help lead vendor management and due diligence activities, including managing internal third-party risk, responding to security and privacy questionnaires, assisting with contract review, and ensuring compliance documentation is up to date

    • Project Management
    • Manage projects supporting implementation and ongoing maintenance of key technology initiatives, such as data loss prevention (DLP) and single sign on (SSO)

    • Policy Management
    • Develop, review, and improve internal policies

    • Internal Audit and Risk Management:
    • Support, plan, organize, and document internal audit and risk management activities

    • Privacy and Security Training and Awareness
    • Help manage firm-wide privacy and security trainings
    • Represent the team in day-to-day activities with technology business partners and champion privacy and security across the firm.
Desired Experience
    • 1+ years of professional services experience supporting project management or governance activities, or commensurate experience
    • Understanding of industry standards, frameworks, and regulations (e.g., ISO, SSAE 16/18, NIST, GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GLBA)
    • Working knowledge of security and privacy compliance, risk management, and program considerations
    • Working knowledge of major technologies, such as SaaS and cloud hosting providers (e.g. AWS, Azure)
    • Have a passion for new technologies, continuing education, and staying current with trends in security and privacy
    • Polished verbal and written communication skills
    • Enthusiasm, entrepreneurial spirit, leadership, and a great sense of humor
Desired Education
    • A bachelor's degree (or higher) in management information systems (MIS), computer information systems (CIS), accounting information systems (AIS), pre-law, or business
Desired Certifications
    • We are looking for candidates who value and prioritize their professional development, and who either have or are interested in pursuing one or more of the following certifications:

    • CIPP/US/E/A or CIPM
    • CISM or CISA
