Summary:
Responsible for the leadership, strategy, and performance of the integrated STAR/CHIP Care Management program including the planning, organizing, implementation and management of all Cook Children’s Health Plan (CCHP) STAR/CHIP care management functions and likewise for the CCHP Population Health and Clinical Outcomes/Outreach programs. Accountable for monitoring the STAR/CHIP Care Management program to assure compliance with external regulatory and accreditation agencies.
Education & Experience:
Registered Nurse, MSN required.
7+ years of clinical management experience within a health care institution or managed care organization.
Health Plan experience required
Medicaid/SCHIP experience required
Proficiency with Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, required
Excellent teaching and communication skills (written and speech) required
Leadership skills in health care required
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification:
Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
