Our client is a premier asset manager and continues to forge ahead with its clear growth strategy for the region. It is seeking to recruit a high caliber Head of Investment Asset Governance & Control.
Responsibilities
Leading a high performing team, you are responsible for the investment asset architecture and control. The function requires the structuring of assets into funds, sub-funds, investment portfolio and sub-portfolios (as governed by investment mandates), and the implementation and ongoing maintenance of effective investment and process controls within Investment Governance Framework. The team will manage the governance of investment data domain and support the design, administration, oversight and continuous improvement of a common enterprise architecture. This investment asset architecture will ensure clear accountability within investment teams, improve investment capabilities, provide a platform for 3 line-of-defence to function effectively and efficiently, provide proper analytics, ensure continuous improvement of controls, monitoring, assurance and reporting, design and planning projects to implement proper governance, and maintain data governance of the investment data.
Requirements
You possess at least 15 years of related Asset Management Compliance or Financial Risk Management experience. With strong organizational, presentation, influencing and communication skills, you are strategic, independent, driven, commercial and a strong people manager.
